Good dairy cows were in demand at. the Ngatea salqyards on Friday last, when the herd of a Patetonga farmer was sold by Mr D. Gt McMillan, of the Loan and Mercantile Agency, Ltd. The best cows brought from £7 10s to £ll, backward cows from £5 5s to £7, choice yearling heifers up to £6 3s, and bulls from £6 5s to £lO.
