WALLACE REVUE CO

A HAPPY COMBINATION.

PAEROA AUDIENCE DELIGHTED,

“A splendid show.” was the unanimous verdict of the large audience which filled the Aurora Theatre on Thursday night, whe.n the George Wallace Revue Company, under the direction of John Fuller and Sons, paid a visit to Paeroa. That Mr George Wallace is a, born comedian and humorist was amply demonstrated throughout the production of “Night Lights” and “Off Honolulu,” and he was backed up by his clever company of artists. The introduction of Tom Lincoln and Frank Haining as “Archie” and “Bertie” created roars of laughter. The two Daleys, brother and sister, in topicalities, were undoubted favourites, and a duet bringing in a number of local celebrities made a decided hit. Mr Marshall Crosby delighted the audience by his rendition of a number of Irish songs. A ballet of six gave several fine turns, and their dancing was graceful and attractive. In “The Labour Bureau there was some funny situat'ops. This was centred chiefly round George Wallace when he endeavoured to solve the unemployment, problem and created peals of laughter. From the rise to the fall of the curtain there was not a dull moment, and patrons left feeling that they had spent, a happy time with the Fullers.
