The N.Z. Meat Producers’ Board has received a cable from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight/ ended October 27, from Argentine and Uruguay : 34'2,900 quarters of chilled beef, 8727 quarters of frozen beef, 129,350 carcases of frozen mutton, and 119,650 carcases of frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period was as follows: 159,150 quarters of frozen beef, 12,250 carcases of frozen mutton, and 770 carcases of frozen lamb.
