It would be difficult to eclipse in merit and variety the illustrations in th;s week’s issue of the “N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review.” The Thame,;. Jockey Club’s meeting at Ellerslie, is given prominence in a wide selection of snapshots covering principal events, while the Waikato races at Te Rapa and the Hunt Club’s meeting at Cambridge are depicted in a comprehensive display. The Hawke’s Bay A. and P. S'how and the Athletic Carnival in Auckland also furnish some excellent pictures. The centre pages are particularly alluring with photographs of French seaside beauties. In the miscellaneous portraits are incidents at Randwick, snaps at Ti'e.ntham, the late Mr Robert Wynyard’s funeral, and a varied selection of overseas subjects.
