HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd., report : — At the weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday, October 25, we had a fair entry of beef and store cattle. Fat cattle sold at slightly improved values, stores at late rates. A small number of fat sheep were, penned, and showed an advance in values,. There was a fair entry of fat pigs, and a full yarding of stores, all classes selling at unimproved rates. Beef.—Medium-weight fat steers '£lo 15s to £lo' 17s 6d ; light to fair medium steers £8 Is to £9 17s 6d ; heavy prime cows and heifers £8 to £8 17s 6d, light to -medium £5 to £6 5s ; plain cows £4 to £4 10s ; vealers £2 12s 6d to £3; 4-year-old store bullocks £5 10s to £6 4s ; 3-year steers £5 2s 6d to£s 5s ; store cows £2 17s 6d. to £3 ; yearling Jersey-cross heifers £3 7s to £3 14s.

Sheep.—Heavy prime maiden woolly ewes 31s 6d; medium fat wethers 30s 6d; medium woolly hoggets 235., prime shorn 255; prime shorn ewes 23s ; spring lambs 21s to 235. Pigs.—Heavy baconers £2 18s to £3 3s, medium £2 12s to £2 17s ;. light baconers and heavy porkers £2 8s to £2 13s ; light porkers £2 to £2 ss; good stores 31s 6d to 33s : slips 24s to 27s ; best weaners 18s to 235, small 9s to 14s.
