I A LURKING DANGER. There is a lurking danger in the aching back. The aches and pains of the back tell of kidneys overworked. Go to the kidney’s assistance when backache pains warn you. A kidney warning should be promptly heeded, for gravel and urinary troubles are only a step away. Read how the danger can be averted : Mr Jos. Glasgow, Hikutaia, near Paeroa says: “ I obtained a bottle of Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills, aS I wished to try them for backache, a complaint from which. I suffered considerably. I am pleased to inform you that they relieved the pains in a short time, and eventually banished them completely. I think the backache was caused by a strain from ;l>eavy lifting. Doan’s Pills proved just the remedy needed ; they cured me, and I am quite all right now. All who suffer from sore and aching backs should take Doan s Backache Kidney Pills.” Doan’s Backache Kidney PiHs are sold by all chemists and storekeepers. Foster-McClellan Co., proprietors, 15 Hamiton Street, Sydney. But, be sure you get DOAN’S. At the Paeroa magazine last month there were 22 cases of explosives issued and 112 cases received. The fees totalled £lO 4s 6d. The discing of the Puhanga Canal road by the Hauraki Plains County Council’s plant was: completed on Wednesday afternoon, and half a dozen motor-cars made the journey between Kaihere and Ngatea on Wednesday. The discing has not been done beyond the Torehape Road corner, as the Lands Department has opened the road for a culvert. Six tons of one-inch piping indented by the Hauraki Plains County Council on behalf of ratepayers in the Hauraki Plains West water supply area, has arrived at Pipiroa, and is being stored at the pumping station site near Dalgety’s corner.
