The discing of the Puhanga Canal road by the Hauraki Plains County Council’s plant was: completed on Wednesday afternoon, and half a dozen motor-cars made the journey between Kaihere and Ngatea on Wednesday. The discing has not been done beyond the Torehape Road corner, as the Lands Department has opened the road for a culvert.
