Th© latest sales plans issued by the Crown Lands Department contain particulars of two adjoining sections, each of 64 acres 3 roods 14 perches, fronting Orchard East Road which are offered for selection. The ballot will be on October 25. In reply to Mr W. E. G. Willy at Tuesday’s meeting of the Thames Valley Electric Power-Board the manager said that the trouble with the Bank of New Zealand would not nold up the construction of the KaiherePatetonga power line. The board’s present overdraft was more than sufficient to assure- the work being carried out.
