ODD FEIA J) WS LODGE GAME.
PAEROA TO VISIT CAMBRIDGE.
The first friendly society Rugby match of the season is to be played at Cambridge on Saturday, when the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., Paeroa, will meet the Loyal Duke of Cambridge Lodge. This match, which will be preceded by a curtain-raiser played between the Hamilton junior representatives, and the Cambridge B team, will be in aid of a Cambridge » representative footballer and lodge member who had the misfortune to sustain a fractured leg some weeks ago. Social functions have been arranged for the Paeroa brethren for Saturday evening, and the party will return home on Sunday afternoon. The following have been selected to represent the local lodge : D. Snow, J. K. Dean, J. Conolly, C. O’Brien, Williams, H. Grant, McLeod, Pennell, F. Morrow, Saunders Main, B. McGuire, F. Bullock, H. Wilton, T. Killgour. Emergencies: Nelson, Watt, Hamilton, and Russell.
The Cambridge team will comprise: Tucker, Petersen, Dahlberg, Appleby, Foster, Shaw, Kelly. Morse (2), Harris, Hall, Joyce, Dagg, Tripp, Cursons. Emergencies : Parker, Kelly, Bush.
Bro. J. M. Fox. P.G.. will travel as manager, and the team is requested to assemble at Brenan’s garage at 7.45 o’clock sharp on Saturday morning.
It isj also the intention of the Netherton Oddfellows Lodge to send a team to Waikino on Saturday to play a challenge match against the Waikino Lodge for the Jesney Shield.
