The pupils of the Waihou school are engaged in raising money for the tennis court fund says the Te Aroha News. One way of getting money was by selling bottles that had been collected, and the people of Waihou have been amazed at the children’s success in this connection. Nobody thought there were so many bottles in the district, and where the children found them is a mystery. Different days are set apart for special efforts. One day last week each pupil was asked to take an egg to school, and as a result there were many dozen eggs, for sale. The youngsters are entering with great spirit into the campaign, and each one is eager to dp his or her part to make it a success.
