PURSUANT to Section 11 of “The Local Bodies Loans' Act, 1926,” notice is hereby given that the Paeroa Borough Council proposes to raise a Special Loan as follows :— Proposed loan of £4500 for the purpose of reconstruction bf Main Streets, including the cost of raising the loan. That the Paeroa Borough Council proposes to make such loan' repayable in 15 years at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent, per annum, and to make provision for the repayment thereof by a sinking fund of 5 per centum per annum. That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be an annually recurring Special Rate of 13-16 d (thirteen-six-teenths of one penny) in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Paeroa. That the Paeroa Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for these works out of ordinary revenue of the Borough, proposes to raise the above-mentioned Special Loan.
