Tlie Timaru Presbytery was asked : to decide an unusual point at its last meeting, as to the religion of a child of Presbyterian parents, which had been christened by an Anglican clergyman. A letter before the meeting stated that a Presbyterian woman in a hospital had asked that he;r dying baby be christened, and, as the Pres- , byterian minister was absent from the district, the ceremony was per- ; formed by a minister of tlie Anglican : Church. The child lived, and it was/ presumed was an Anglican. The mat- ; ter was discussed, but it was decided ■ that the presbytery could not give a j ruling on it. * ; Woo'ds’ Great Penperinint Cure. - rvr lnfluenja-cows: —
