HAMILTON STOCK SALE. Th© Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report; We held oui- weekly stock sale in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last, when we had a good entry of beef and values reached were on a par with those of the previous week. A fair number of fat sheep were penned and prices were firm at late rates for good quality prime mutton, while medium sheep were slightly easier. A medium yarding of fat pigs and a full yarding of stores were again submitted, and prices for large stores and best weaners showed an improvement.

Bee f —The advertised combined entry of 40 prime Hereford and Polled Angus cows and heifers on account of Mr D. Finlayson averaged £9 Ils 3d. Medium-weight prime fat siteers sold to £l3 ss, lighter prime £ll I.os to £l2; good quality prime Hereford cows and heifers £9 l'ss to £lO 5s , prime young Polled Angus cows and heifers £9 5s to £lO ; other heavy cows £7 10si to £7 17s, medium weights £6 10s to £7 ; plain cows £4 12s to £5 Is; fresh conditioned cows £2 10s to £3 10s ; stores £2 to £2 ss.

Sheep.—Prime heavy young maiden ewes and wethers 37s' 3d ; prime heavy ewes 33s to 33s 3d; fair fat wethers 35s to 35s 6d, light wethers 30s to 30s 6d; prime woolly hoggets 25s to 27s Id; medium plain fat ewes £l. Pigs.—Heavy baconeirs £3 Is to £3 4 s ; good porkers and light baconers £2 14s to £2 15s ; light to medium porkers, £2 6s to £2 18s ; choppers £3 to £3 10s ; store porkers 31s to 355; good slips 25s to 30s; best weaners 16s to 245, small 5s to 13s; Tamworth and cross sows in pig £4 to £5.
