HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At our weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a full yarding of fat cattle. Steer beef sold at the previous week’s rate. Cow and heifer beef opened up at late rates, and improved slightly towards the end of the sale. There was a good entry of fat sheep, and values were firm at late rates. A full entry of fat and store pigs was submitted, and prices were unchanged. Beef: Prime heavy bullocks £l3 2$ to £l3 13s ; light prime steers £lO 12s 6d to £lO 16s ; small fat steers £9 2s to £9 17s Gd ; good quality choice prime heavy cows £9 10s; to £9 19s , heavy prime cows and heifers £8 10s to £9 ss, lighter £7 11s to £8 2s ; plain heavy cows £6 to £6 19s ; forwardconditioned cows £4' 17s 6cl to £5 Ist, runners £3 Is to £3 3s ; store cows £3 tp £3 5s ; cull cows 35s to £2 Is. Sheep : Prime heavy fat wethers £2 3s others 36s 6d to 37s 4<l, medium 33s to 345, lighter 29s to 30s; fat woolly hoggets 26s 6d ; prime ewes to 325,

Pigs : Baconers £3 to £3 3s ; heavy porkers £2 13s to £2 18s, medium £2 8s to £2 10s, light 38s to £2 6s, store porkers 33s t,o 36s ; good slips 28s to 325, others £1 to £1 6s ; good 17s’ to 225, small 8s to l'ss.
