THE WILD BULL’S LAIR

Fred Thomson and his wonder horse. Silver King, in “The Wild Bull’s Lair,” is the chief atraction for this evening. It is the story of a raging, maddened, ferocious: animal, half bison, half bull, pawing to attack the helpless old man tied to a tree. His terrified daughter, crazed with fear, is trembling in the background. SATURDAY NIGHT. THE ICE FLOOD. “The Ice Flood,” to be screened t-o-morrow night, is based on a magazine story by Johnstone McCulley, “ The Brute Breaker,” is a lively, thrilling story, with its- locale in the timber regions of North America. THE RECKLESS LADY. The great love of a mother for her daughter and the sacrifices of the former to assure the happiness of the latter, form the story of “ The Reckless Lady,” adapted from the story by Sir Phillip Gibbs, alto to be shown to-morrow night.

“Lovers in Quarantine,” showing at the Turua Hall to-morrow night, is- a comedy romance de luxe. Bebe Daniels as the society girl who acts first and thinks afterwards is excellent. This picture is adapted from the wellknown stage farce “Quarantine.” TUESDAY, AUGUST 30.

“Mademoiselle from Armentieres,” showing on Tuesday nig'ht, is a Gau-mont-British picture, a„nd is described as the soldiers’ story of the- Great War which in sentiment and sincerity glorifies the little French heroine and makes 'her one of the most loved characters ever seen on the screen.
