The injured man was able to walk to Dr. G. T. Smith’s consulting rooms, where upon examination it was found that he was suffering from a bruised thigh and abrasions.

Upon inquiry at the Paeroa Borough Council Chambers this morning it was learned that Mr Hendricksen is a single man employed by the council on the unemployment relief works.
