NOTICE is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County Council proposes at its meeting to be held on Thursday, the Bth day of September, 1927, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to borrowing the sum of £2OOO for the purpose of metalling: (a) The Waitakaruru-Morrinsville Road from Mahuta Cross Roads to the Southern Boundary of Ngatea Riding. (b) Approximately 60 chains of Torehape Road eastward from its intersection with the Wai-takaruru-Morrinsville Road. Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Hauraki Plains County Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting. , , , Dated at Ngatea this 24th day of August, 1927. PURSUANT to Section 3, subsection 3 (a), of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,” NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Special Roll, comprising the names of all Ratepayers together with descriptions of their properties and rateable values thereof, contained in the Kaihere-Torehape Roads Loan Special Rating Area, has this day been deposited in the County Office at Ngatea for Public Inspection during office hours, and will remain open for inspection until and including Wednesday, the 31st day of August, 1927. The boundaries of the said Kaihere-Torehape Roads Loan Special Rating Area are as follows :— Commencing at the north-east-ern corner of Lot 1 of Waitakaruru 5B 2 Block VIII., Piako Survey District, thence in a southerly direction generally along the eastern boundaries of 5B 2 and sections 9, Block VIII. Piako, sections 34, 35, 36, 43, 38, 25, 26, 27, the southern boundary of section 27, and the eastern and southern boundaries of section 28, Block XII., Piako, to the WaitakaruruMorrinsville Road ; thence southwards along the said Waitaka-ruru-Morrinsville Road to the north-western corner of Ngarua 1838, thence in an easterly direction generally to the eastern boundary of Ngarua 1838, thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of Ngarua IB3A and section 1, Block XVI., Piako, to the southern corner of the said section 1, Block XVI., Piako ; thence in a northerly direction generally along the western and northern boundaries of the said section 1, Block XVI., Piako, the western boundaries of sections 8 and 9, Block XII., Piako, the southern boundaries of sections 3 and 4, Block XII., Piako, the western boundaries of section 3, Block XII., and section 4, Block VIII., Piako; thence along the northern boundaries of sections 4,1, and 2, Block Vllland Ngarua 5A No. 1 to the Western boundary of Waitakaruru 5B 2, thence following the western and northern boundaries of the said Waitakaruru 5B 2 to the north-western comer of Lot 6 of Waitakaruru 58. 2,'thence following the western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the said Lot 6 and the northern boundaries of Lots 5,4, 3,2, and 1 of Waitakaruru 5B 2, Block VIII., Piako, to the point of commencement.

Objections to the said Special Roll may be lodged, and all such mrfst be in the hands of the undersigned not later than 4 p.m. on the seventh day after the last day on which the said Roll is deposited. Dogs without Collars, having proper registration label, are deemed unregistered, and any person upon whose land such dog is found, or his agent, or any person duly authorised by a local authority may destroy any such dog. . Owing to complaints having been received by the Board re cattle worrying, etc., the Dog Registrar has been authorised to have destroyed every dog found without proper registered Collar. J. E.
