A young -couple who had received many valuable presents on the occasion of their wedding, received by post one morning two tickets for a populai entertainment in town, with a note .saying: "Guess who sent them . (says the Dargaville Times). The pair liad much amusement trying to identify the- sender, but failed in theit effort. However, they attended the theatre, and ha.d a delightful tim®. On their return home late- at night, still trving to guess the identity of the unknown host, they found the house stripped of every article of value ; and on the bare- table in the dining-room was a piece of paper upon which was written, in the same hand as the enclosure with the tickets, “Now you know I” Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure For Coughs and Colds, never fails.
