NEXT YEAR’S PROPOSALS. The following tentative proposals for school terms and holidays, for 1928 were notified by the Education Department to the Auckland Education Board on Wednesday Primary Schools.—-First term : Wednesday, February 1. to Friday, May '4 ; holidays, two weeks. Second term . Monday,’May 21, to Friday, August 17: holidays, two weeks and one day. Third term : Tuesday, September 4, to Wednesday, December 19 ; holidays, six weeks and two days. Commencing date of 1929 school year, Monday, February 4,
Secondary Schools and Technical High Schools.—First term : Tuesday, February 7, to Friday, May 4 ; holidays, two weeks: and one day. Second term ; Tuesday, May 22, to Friday, August 17 ; holidays, three weeks and one day. Third term : Tuesday, September 11, to Wednesday, Decembei 19; holidays six weeks and three days. Commencing date of 1929 school year, Tuesday, February 5.
