MATCH AGAINST LANCASHIRE.
GAME ABANDONED,
On Wednesday the New Zealand Cricketers commenced their match against Lancashire at Manchester.
Lancashire- in the first inning's com t piled 229 runs, and the visitors at the end of the day’s play had lost one wicket for 57 runs.
The game was- to have been continued yesterday, but cable advice received this morning states that play was abandoned for the day. It is not known whether the games is- being continued to-day.
Commencing to-morrow, the New Zealanders are scheduled to play a two days’ match against Cumberland at Whitehaven,
