Turua footballers ;>re training -hard for the cup finals at Ngatea on Saturday next, and practices are-held nightly. The Waitakaruru seniors are also training, and a hard game is anticipated. Some time ago the Turua Town Board nominated a man whom the County Council appointed as- a ranger for the district. This ranger does not work systematically, but makes fairly frequent drives, ami seldom fails to round up a good number of straying cattle and horses, including animals owned by members of the board. Sandy Andy and Bandy Jim Knocked off toil and two had a swim. Both got hot and each got a cold, Drifted to camp and ah turned in. Snuffled and sniffed the whole night through. Bandy rode off; they’re well, be -sure, Bandy- brought back Wodos’ Great Bandy brought back Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure.
