HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At our Frankton sale on Tuesday last we had a good yarding of beef and fat sheep, a small entry of store cattle, a few pens of store sheep, and a fair yarding of fat and store pigs. Beef was firm, with prices better than the previous week. Fat sheep met with keen competition, and there was also a good demand for stores. Fat pigs were equal to last week, and prices for stores were firmer. W« quote :—

Extra prime heavy fat bullocks £l3 5s to £l4, these prices being obtained for two pens on Account of Mr W. Willoughby ; prime fat cows and heifers £9 7s 6d to £lO ; a draft of 25 extra choice on account of the Crossing Estate- avieraged £9 7s Id. Fat cows £8 to £8 ss; medium quality £6 10s to £6 15s ; plain and unfinished £5 3s to £5 12s 6d ; store cowls £3 to £4 ; cull cows £1 15s to £2 ; fat wethers 34s 6d, a line of 488 on account of the Crossing Estate making this figure. Fat wethers, small 32s ■sd ; a line of 305 forward wethers realised 32s ; Small store wethers 275; prime baconers £3 2s to £3 8s ; light baconers £2 15s to £2 17s; prime porkers £2 8s to £2 10s; sow and young £8; good stores 33s to 375; slips 25s to 29s 6d; good weaners 18s 6d to 22s ; others Ils to 13s.
