BASKETBALL.
LAST WEEK-END RESULTS. ARRANGEMENTS FOR ' The junior matches in the basketball competition were continued on. Saturday last in tho schoolgrounds, the ,results being as follows :— Kiwi A 15, v. High School A 10 ; Areta won by default from Kiwi B; Primary 14, v. High School B 11. All association matches will he postponed on Saturday next, when A and B representative matches will be played against Hamilton at the schoolgrounds. The public qre invited. The teams are as follows : — A Team. —Misses E. Freeman, C. Taylor, D. Smith, M. O’Neil, A. Scuthby, I. ’ Dare, A. O’Neil, N. McLeod, and M. Ellis. B Team.—Misses M. Power, G. Gwilliam, R. Ellis, H. Williams, N. RyalL E. Moore, D. Towers, C. Silcock. This team is to be completed after Friday s practice. Emergencies’. M. Smith, H. Wells L. Forrest, A- and T. Innis.
AH players must be on the grounds by 2.15 p.m.
All seniors please note tha.t a practice will be held in the Drill Hall on Friday evening at 7 o’clock.
