MATCH AGAINST CIVIL SERVICE.

HOME TEAM DECISIVELY BEATEN.

The New Zealand Cricketers concluded their three days’ rnaten against the Civil Service at Cheswick yesterday. Cabled advice states that the New Zealanders secured a comfortable victory by an innings and 15 runs. Commencing on Saturday, the home team was dismissed for 256 runs. The New Zealanders in their first innings made 421 runs for the loss of seven wickets and then declared.

Play yvas resumed yesterday morning when the Civil Service eleven were disposed of in their secon.l innings, for 150 runs, which left the New Zealanders victors a.s stated. Commencing this morning, the New Zealanders play a three days’ match against the- Army at Folkestone.
