MATCH AGAINST YORKSHIRE.

RAIN CAUSES ABANDONMENT.

The New Zealand cricketers commenced their three days’ match against Yorkshire at Bradford on Saturday. The home team batted first and compiled 377 runs. The visitors then went to the wickets and at the close of the day’s play two men had been dismissed for 41 runs.

Resuming on Monday, the New Zealanders had lost seven wickets for 133 runs when stumps were drawn. The match was abandoned yesterday on account of rain.

Commencing this morning, the New Zealanders are scheduled to play a. three days’ match against the Notts County eleven aif Nottingham.
