EDINBURGH CLUBS DEFEATED.

VISITORS WIN BY TEN WICKETS

The New Zealand cricketers concluded their two days’ match against Edinburgh Clubs at Edinburgh yesterday.

In the first innings the home side made 299 runs, the New Zealanders replying with 406 for seven wickets, when the innings was declared. Commencing yesterday morning, Edinburgh Clubs played their second innings and were disposed of for 246 runs. The New Zealanders then batted and scored 42 runs without the loss of a wicket, thus winning the match by ten wickets.

To-day the visitors are playing a South of Scotland eleven at Galashiels. To-morrow they will commence a three days’ match against Yorkshire at Bradford.
