PAEROA LADIES’ CLUB. CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS. The results of the first round of the Paeroa Ladies’ Golf Club’s championship, played on Saturday last, were as follows :— Mrs Miller beat Miss G. Gibb, 4 and 2 ; Miss Walmsley beat Miss Adlam, 7 and 5 ; Miss L. Thorp won by default from Miss Gibb ;'Mrs Edwards beat Miss Menzies, 9 and 7 ; Miss Tierney beat Mrs Taylor 9 and 7; Miss M. Thorp won from Mrs Porritt by default; Mrs Lawrence beat Miss Taylor, 3 and 1 ; Mrs Little beat Mrs. Andrews, 7 and 5 ; Mrs Hubbqrd beat Miss Argali, 5 and 4 ; Miss I. Thorp won by default from Mrs Silcock. The winner of the sealed hole match was Miss C. Fleming.
The fixture for Saturday next is the monthly L.G.U. medal round. Players are requested to arrange tllfiir own partners. Members are notified that the services of a. coach will be available as from to-morrow (Thursday) afternoon.
