GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. THE COUNTRY BEYOND. James Oliver Curwood’s great novel, “The Country Beyond,” with settings in the Canadian Rockies and the Theatrical Forties of New York City, has been transferred to the screen. This widely read story, with Olive Borden in the stellar role is to be shown to-night. THE IRON MAN. Dentists would despair at Luciano Albertini, Italian physical marvel, appearing as “The Iron Man” in the chapterplay sensational of that name, the first of a series to be screened tonight. He can support half a ton from a strap held between his teeth, and eat a fair-sized meal immediately thereafter. SATURDAY NIGHT. TEMPTATION. The picture “Temptation.,” which is to be shown to-morrow night, is a story absolutely modern in period and treatment. It commences just prior to the outbreak of the world war, bridges the period of the war, and concludes with the Grand Duchess abdicating her throne to marry her soldier lover. THE PERFECT SAP. “The Perfect Sap,” a mystery com-edy-drama packed with fast-moving action, laughs, and mystery enough to hold any audience in suspense, is also to be shown to-morrow night. / ■ TURUA PICTURES. SATURDAY, JUNE 25. “Scaramouche,” screening at Turua on Saturday, is a picture that has been acclaimed the sensation of the screen world. “Scara.mouche” is thesecond big production under the new order of things in the film industry after the “Ten Commandments.” TUESDAY. JUNE 28. “For Heaven’s Sake,” showing at Turua on Tuesday, is Harold Lloyd’s latest and greatest picture. You know how funny Lloyd can be. Well, here is his funniest picture built from a story that not only has a laugh a second, but a stock of real thrills as well.
