WONDERFUL WINTER SALE. THE PEOPLE’S SHOPPING CENTRE. Never in the history of Paeroa has there been such a large attendance at a winter sale as there was at the “Home of Good Value” yesterday morning. Long before 9 o’clock a fair crowd had collected at the main entrance to the shop in Normanby . Road, opposite the Borough Council Chambers, apd by the time 9 o’clock had arrived the number had considerably increased, and a steady stream of ba.rgain-seekers thronged the establishment throughout the day. The reason why such an unprecedented rush was experienced is the fact that never before have such genuine bargains been offered to the public of Paeroa. There are goods to suit all needs and qualities and styles to suit all classes. In addition to the local public who were eager yesterday there were also shoppers from Thames, Te Aroha, Waikino, and all parts of the Hauraki Plains. The sale has been so arranged that fresh goods will be displayed each morning ' during the remaining 13 days that the sale is to be continued. In extending a cordial welcome to the people of Paeroa and district Mr J. P. Gamble invites them to participate in the good value and low prices, that are ruling*
