A com’iany that claims to have experience in the handling of two-clay-old calves for export—the Calf ByProduct Company—will be operating in the Waikato daring the spring ■months. We are glad to see that there will be competition for this product of the farm, and no doubt it will all be to the advantage of the dairy farmer. If this new industry gets the support it deserves, and is sufficiently developed to allow of the expenditure on plant and machinery to utilise to the best advantage the byproducts of the calf, these- young calves will soon have a commercial value much in excess of the pi ice of calf skins. The disposal of these calves of inferior dairying quality will.be all to the gain of the dairying industry.—Waikato Times. For Coughs and Colds, never fails. Woods’ Great Peppermint Cure
