PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. ’ NOTICE is hereby given that the Paeroa Borough Council proposes, at its meeting to be held on the Ist day of July, 1927, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £2OOO for the purpose of the relief of unemployment ; the said loan to be expended on bringing the foundations of the continuations of Main Highways up to standard as set out in the Report presented to the Council on the 10th of June, 1927 (subject to the obtaining of the subsidy as outlined in the statement made by the Hon. the Minister for Labour and published in the “N.Z. Herald” of the 15th June, 1927). Any person having any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Paeroa Borough Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
