The receipt of six chips of strawberries at the Auckland city markets on Saturday morning created considerable interest among dealers. The strawberries were grown bj' Mr J. A. Mackay at his gardens in Takapuna. Inter-club hockey matches on the Plains to-morrow will be- Turua v. Ngatea. at Ngatea ; Kerepeehi v. Ngatea School, at Ngatea ; Kopuarahi A v. Kopuarahi B. The Waitakaruru team has a bye, and has arranged a game at Waihi.
