MISCELLANEOUS APPLICATIONS

At the Warden’s Court, Paeroa, on Monday last, before Mr F. W. Platts, Warden, R. C. Robinson was granted a license for a water-race one mile on the Waitekauri Stream.

A prospecting license over 66 qeres at Waitekauri was granted to Thomas Parker,

A certificate of abandonment was granted to Mrs T. E. Maclarn for a residence site on sections 29 and 30, block IX., Karangahake. An application from the. Rising Sun Gold Mining Co.,.Ltd., for six months’ protection on the Rising Sun S.Q.C. 205 ; Special Site 7896 ; Extended S.Q.C. 8488 : Veritas S.Q.C. 8357 ; and a tramway license, was recommended to the Minister of Mines. ' The surrender of an application by the Argo .Concentrates, Ltd., for 'Argo No. 2 special dredging claim was accepted. The Imperial Gold Mining Co.. Ltd., was granted a reduction of rent to 2s 6d a.n acre for 12 months as from January 1. 1927, on S.Q.C. 9428, and a similar reduction for six months as from July 1 next on S.Q.C. 208 and S.Q.C. 9256.
