MATCH WITH ROYAL NAVY.
GOOD STAND BY VISITORS.
The latest particulars concerning the cricket match, Royal Navy versus the New Zealand eleven, which commenced at Portsmouth on Wednesday, show that the Navy made 144 runs in the first innings, a.nd 275 in the second innings. In the first innings ths New Zealanders compiled 194. and two wickets only had fallen in the second Innings for 164 runs. With nine wickets still to fall it appears that the. vlstiors have every chance of winning the match comfortably.
