NOTICE is hereby given that the Paeroa Borough Council will, at a meeting to be held in the Borough Council Chambers, Normanby Road, on the 9th day of June, 1927, at 7.30 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1927, and ending on the 31st March, 1928, under: Sections 77-79, 88, and 94 of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” Sections 48 and 50 of “The Rating Act, 1908,” and Section 10 of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Amendment Act, 1923,” namely A General Rate of 3id in the £. And in order to provide'lnterest and Sinking Fund :— To collect a Special Rate of 1-16 d in the £on the £650 borrowed for financial adjustment purposes, such being part of the Special Rate of Id in the £ struck on the 17th day of May, 1917, on the annual value. To collect a Special Rate of 2<d in the £ on the £34,000 borrowed for Sewerage Works, such being part of the Special Rate of 41d in the £ Struck on the 20th day of September, 1921. To collect a Special Rate of -|d in the £ on the £11,250 borrowed for Street Improvements Works, such being part of the Special Rate of l|d in the £ struck on the 20th day of September, 1921.
