GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. WOMANPiOWER. “Womanpower,” to be presented this evening, is the screen version of Harold MacGrath’s fine story, “You Can’t Always Tell,” and pictures in vivid manner the story of Johnny White Bromely. It shows how this young New York millionaire was swept along by a siren’s smile until he had completely lost all pride of his bettei’ self. THURSDAY NIGHT. CARBINE’S HERITAGE. A New Zealand production, “Carbine’s Heritage,” is to be shown here to-morrow night. This picture has just been completed, and features the deeds of the mighty Carbine-, Musket’s doughtiest son, together with scenes of glorious Ellerslie and the last race for the Auckland Cup. The background of New Zealand scenery, the sporting interest, and the- remarkably even cast all combine to make a picture that does credit to the New Zealand artists, the country, and the author and producer alike. The cast includes Miss Queenie Grahame, Mlle. Lola D'Ormonde. Stuart Douglas, and. other gifted artists.
