OBITUARY.

WILLIAM JAMES SHAW. ’Pho many friends of William James Shaw will regret to learn of his death, which occurred at Waihi Beach on Friday last. The deceased lived with, his mother on her farm at the beach. He had been ailing for a number of years, and although he was always able to get about, he was not fit to undertake hard work. He was man, and was born at Paeroa 49 years ago. This is the second sou Mrs Shaw has lost within the last six months. His end was somewhat sudden, as he had bee,n carrying out his usual duties on the farm just prior to his demise. The funeral took place yesterday at Paeroa.
