SATURDAY, MAY 7. “ Forty Winks,” showing at Turua on Saturday, is a sparkling, lively comedy adapted to the screen from the stage success “Lord Chumley.” The story is one of Chumley, a titled Englishman who is so funny that nobody takes him seriously. However, through a series of adventures as dangerous as they arc laughable, he succeeds in solving a mystery, winning a beauty and saving her brother from disgrace. TUESDAY, MAY 10. “East Lynne,” showing on Tuesday next started as a great stage success 64 years ago, and your fathers and mothers cried time and again over it as a play. No picture will grip you as this ono will.
