THE EASTER MATCHES.

PIAKO AND PUKEKOHE PLAYED

Three representative matches were played by the Hauraki Plains Cricket Associations representatives during the Easter ‘holidays. On Easter Saturday the A team proceeded to Morrinsville and the B team to Te Aroha for the purpose, of meeting the Piako Association’s A .and B teams. However, the Piako Association had selected A teams from the two ends of its territory. The Plains A team secured a. win by 95 to 541 runs, in a oneinnings match and the B team was beaten by 184 to 50. On Easter Monday a Plains team travelled to Pukekohe and suffered a bad defeat.
