Papascli. 2 —9; D. Murphy boat R. JGlasgow, 9—5 ; A. R. Vowles lost to N. Johnston, 4 —9 ;R. D. Macklow lost to W. Bi’lkey, 7—9. Men’s Doubles. —Pike and Macklow beat Papasch and Glasgow, 9 —6 ; Murphy and Vowles lost to Johnston and Bilkey, I—9 ; V. O’Commr and L. Cotter lost to Willis and Martin, 7—9. Ladies’ Singles.—Mrs Hudson beat Mrs Johnston, 7 —5 ; Mrs O’Loughlin lost to. Miss Scott, 3 —7. Ladies’ Doubles— Mesdames Hudson and O’Loughlin beat Mrs Johnston and Miss Scott, 7—5 : Misses Benny and Rogers lost to Misses Zinzan and Backhurst, 2 7. Combined Doubles. —O’Connor and Miss Benny lost to Willis and Miss Zinzan, 5—7 : Cotter and Miss Rogers lost to Martin and Miss Backhurst. 5—7. Totals: Franklin, 9 sets or 94 games ; Plains, 4 sets or 71 games.
