Public Notices. PAEROA BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council, held on the 10th day of March, 1927, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday, the 21st day of April, 1927, at 7.30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Norman by Road : — “In pursuance and exercise ol the powers vested in it by Section 16 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and with the consent of the ratepayers of the special rating area in the borough hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said special rating area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said Borough is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order, as follows : “For the purpose of Street Improvements, namely : “Bituminising thirty feet in width the centre of Normanby Road from its junction with Belmont Road to its intersection with Victoria Street; the Paeroa Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of one thousand pounds (£1000) at six per centum per annum for a period of thirty years, and declares that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the loan be payable out of the money so raised.” DESCRIPTION ' of the boundaries of a Special Rating Area in the Borough of Paeroa is :— All that parcel of land bounded as follows : Commencing at the most northerly corner of Lot 8 of Block VIII (Hl) of the Town of Paeroa, by a straight line runningin a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 8,9, 10, 11, and 12. of the said Block VIII, across Mackay Street, along the northeastern boundaries of Lots 24, 2, 3,4, 5,6, 7,8, 9, and 11 of Block VII (Gl) of the Town of Paeroa; across Arney Street; along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 24. 2,3, 4; 5,6, 7,8, 9, and 11 of Block VI (Fl) of the Town of Paeroa. to the south-east corner of the said Lot 11; thence by a straight line running in a southwesterly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 11 and 10 of the said Block VI, and a prolongation of these boundaries to a point 150 links from the south-western corner of the aforesaid Lot 10; thence by a straight line running in a northwesterly direction to the southeast corner of Lot 8 of Block I (Al) of the Town of Paeroa; thence by lines running in a general north-westerly direction along the southern boundaries of Lots 8,7, 6, the western boundary of Lot 6, the south-western boundaries of Lots 11, 12, 13 and 15, all in Block I (Al), Town of Paeroa, across Arney Street, along the south-western boundaries of Lots 20, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, ’and 27 l( the south-east-ern boundary of Lot 28, and the western boundaries of Lots 28, 29, 31, and 32, all in Block I (A2)., Town of Paeroa, to the north-western corner of the said Lot 32 ; thence by a straight line running in a westerly direction across Princes Street to the south-eastern corner of Pt. Lots 14, 28, and 29 of Block B, Town of Ohinemuri; thence by straight lines running south-west along the south-east boundaries of the said Pt. Lots 14, 28, and 29 and Lot 27 of Block B, north-west along the south-west boundary of Lot 27, and north-east along the north-west boundaries of the said Lot 27 and Pt. of Lots 28 and 29 of the aforesaid Block B. to the most northerly corner of Block B ; thence by a straight line running north-west across Wharf Street to the eastern corner of Block C of the Town of Ohinemuri; thence by straight lines running in a general north-east-erly direction across z Belmont Road to the western corner of Lot 8, Block VIII (Hl) of the Town of Paeroa, and along the north-western boundary of the said Lot 8 to the point of commencement.
