TURUA. SUNDAY SCHOOL PICNIC. The Turua Presbyterian Sunday School pupils visited Te Aroha on Saturday and held their annual picnic in the Herries Memorial Park. There were nearly. 50 children, and they all appeared to fully enjoy themselves on the swings, merry-go-round,, ocean wave, and slide. The children made the journey by motor-cars lent by settlers and others for the purpose, and included in the vehicles placed at the disposal of the party was Messrs Bagnall’s large motor van.
