BOWLING.

PAEROA DEFEATS MORRINSVILLE, LAST SATURDAY’S MATCH. An enjoyable inter-club match took place at the local green on Saturday afternoon, when eight rinks from the Paeroa club defeated a similar number from Mcrrinsville by ,30 points. Prior to the commencement the vice-president (Mr C. T. Mettam) extended a hearty welcome to the visitors and expressed the hope that they i would spend an enjoyable afternoon. Early in the play the green was •found to be a little on the heavy side, but it played true enough. As the afternoon wore on conditions improved considerably, and some interesting finishes were witnessed. Following are the details, paeroa names being mentioned first in each instance :— R. Lowry, C.
