WAIKATO MARKET REPORT. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— Beef. —Heavy supplies continue to come 'forward, prices for all classes being easier', prime ox making £1 4 s to £1 5s per hundred, and prime cow and heifer £1 per hundred. The supply exceeded the demand. Fat Sb.eep.—There has been no rise in the price o>f fat sheep, but the markets continue firm at late rates, values being in most cases above export prices. Store Sheep.—There is.still a good demand 'for all classes of stores, wethers, breeding ewes, and store lambs meeting with good competition at prices equal to the sheep fairs.

Store Cattie.—The market is quiet 'for grown cattle, yearling and two year steers, but a good enquiry exists for Jersey and Jersey Cross wearier heifers, also a good demand for choice in calf heifers. Store and fresh coynditioned cows are at present very low.

Pigs.—Heavy yardings are coming forward with prices, easier, baconers and porkers selling at equal to 5d per pound. There has been a good drop in stores, especially weaners.

Horses. —The market is very quiet, very few horses changing hands. We quote : Bullocks, prime, extra heavy £lO .to £lO 10s, medium £8 10s to £9 ; cows, prime, £5 5s to £6 10s, medium £5 to £5 ss, unfinished £3 t- J £3 10s ; heifers, prime, £6 to £6 15s ;

steers forward 4-year £6 15s to £7 10s, 3-year stores £5 10s to £6, good £4 to £4 10s ; extra choice 2year Jersey in-calf heifers £9 to £lO ; good 18-months Jersey in-calf heifers £6 10s to £7 ; good fresh empty cows £3 to £3 10s; aged store cows 30s to £2. Sheep: Wethers, prime shorn heavy 23s 6d to 255, medium 22s to 22s 6d ; ewes, prime shorn 14s 6d to 15s 6d ; store wethers, shorn -1-tooth 21s to 235, 2-tooth 18s to 20s 6d ; breeding ewes, 4,6, and 8-tooth 21s to 235, 5-years 21s to 22s 6d, aged 17s tm 18s 6d, 2-tocth 10s to 12s, 4-tooth 23s to 25s ; prime fat lambs 23s to 24s 6d, fat lambs 20s to. 21s 6d, best woolly rape lambs 15s to 16s, good woolly store lambs 13s 6d to 14s, small 10s to Ils (id ; best shorn rape lambs 14s 6d to, 15s 6d, goad store shorn lambs 12s 6d to 14s, small 9s to 10s. Pigs : Baconers, prime £3 5s to £3 Bs, medium £2 15s to £3 ; porkers £2 10s to £2 15s, slips 25s to 275, weaners 7s to 10s. Horses : Draughts, heavy £35 to £4O, medium £2B to- £32, spring cart sorts £l6 toi £lB, harness horses £8 to £lO, hacks £5 .to £B.
