PRESENTATION.
FAREWELL TO MR. T. BLACK. On Thursday evening a farewell was tendered to Mr Thomas Black, who lias resigned the managership <Jt Wallace Stores, Ltd., by a number of townspeople and friends prior to his leaving for Mananui. Many references were made of the fine business qualities possessed by Mr Black, .and a general regret, was expressed that he was leaving Paerta. He was. presented with a handsome set of Loewe pipes from some of his personal friends.
In responding Mr Black said he regretted in many ways leaving Paeroa and the staunch friends he had made, and hoped Paeroa would continue t° progress.
