HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company reports:— At tlie Hamilton Stock Sale on Tuesday last we had a good entry tf lat cattle, fat and store sheep, and pigs. The values reached in the beef pens were on a par with those of the previous week, while all classes tit sheep sold firm at late rates. Fas pigs, if anything, were easier, no good quality heavy baconers being yarded, and stores were dull of sale, mere especially with the weaner class. Beef : Medium-weight fat steers realised from £8 14s-to £8 17 s ’ steers £7 12s 6d to £7 17s 6d, small and young £4 to £5 l‘ss ; prime fat cows £6 to £6 6s, medium weights £5 10s to £5 15s ; fresh-conditioned cCwS £3 12s to £5 4S; forward stores £3 £3 2s 6d; bulls (potters) £4. Sheep: Fat wethers 22s to 23s 4d; fat ewes 14s to 14s 6d; extra prime woolly lambs 24s 9d, lighter prime 21s 9d ta 23s 6d; shorn fat lambs ,19s to 20s, good shorn rape lambs 15s 3d, other good shorn lambs 13s 6d to 13s lOd; S.M. ewes 12s 3d to 12s 6d, store ewes 9s to 9s 6d, failing mouths Ils to Ils Id ; aged S,D. rams 3% guineas,. Shropshire rams 2 guineas. Pigs : Heavy baconers £3 to £3 light baconers £2 15s to £2 17s ; porkers £2 12s to £2 16s, light porkers £2 8s to £2 10s ; slips 20s to 245; best weaners 12s ta 15s, small 8s to 10s.
