NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Paeroa Borough Council, held on the 16th day of February, 1927, the following resolutions were passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a meeting of the Council to be held on the 22nd day of March, 1927, at 7.30 p.m. in the Council Chambers No. 1 RESOLUTION. “That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by ‘The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,’ and by virtue of a warrant dated the 21st June, 1926, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General in terms of Section 119 of ‘The Public Works Act, 1908,’ the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: “ ‘For the purpose of providing the Paeroa Borough Council s share of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Ohinemuri River at Paeroa known as ‘The Criterion Traffic Bridge,’ the Paeroa Borough Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £lBOO at six per centum per annum for a period of years, and declares that the cost of raising the said Loan and the first year’s interest and sinking fund on the Loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised.’ No. 2 RESOLUTION. “That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 21 of ‘The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,’ the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order, as follows : “ ‘To pay out of the General Fund the interest and sinking fund on the first instalment of Two Thousand Pounds (£2,000) of the Water Improvements Loan.’ No. 3 RESOLUTION. “In pursuance and ol the powers vested in it by Section 21 of ‘The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,’ the Paeroa Borough Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order, as follows : “ ‘To pay out of the General Fund the interest and sinking fund on the Council Chambers Loan.’ No. 4 RESOLUTION. “That Station Road in the Borough of Paeroa be widened at its junction with Belmont Road by the addition thereto of FIRSTLY sixteen One-hundredths Perches (00.16 p. being part Lot 8 on D.P. 1240 Te Arero-o-Huatata No. 2 Block (registered proprietor E. E. McLiver), and SECONDLY an easement for Street Purposes over Seventeen One-hundredth's Perches (00.17 p. being part Lot 1 on D.P. 1576 Te Arero-o-Hua-tata No. 2 Block (easement to be granted by K.
