LAST SATURDAY’S MATCHES. Showery weather prevailed for the third matches cf the third round of the Hauraki Plains inter-club competition on Saturday last, and possibly this affected the play, as some of the scoring was unusual. In the Ngatea-Kaihere match at Kaihere nine of the home team were dismissed for eight runs, but Woodbridge with 62 and McDonald’s 22 made the position hopeful until Ngatea went in to win the match with only t,wo wickets down.
