DISTRICT NEWS.
NETHERTON. SALE OF WORK. At the close of the Netnerton Anglican Church Sale of Work on Thursday last Mr B. Gwilliam, on behalf of the guild, thanked all those who had assisted with the function, and also the business people df Paeroa for donations given. The following is a further list of prize winners:— Doll, Miss de Stigler; four ducks, Mr B. Gwilliam ; two ducks, Mrs McKee ; fat lamb, Mr W. Fleming; pig, Mrs Heappey; cushion, _Mr B. J. Whisker ; cake, Mrs G. Sarjant, junr., and Mrs Rogers. ‘ The decoration of the sweets stall was the work of Mrs Joel Fisher, as sisted by Miss Helen Matfhews.
