KNOCKED DOWN IN STREEP.

MAN KILLED AT TE AROHA.

A fatal accident occurred near Te Aroha on Saturday evening, Mr Matthew Thomas Davis, aged '56 } being run dawn by a motor car. He was returning from the races and, when crossing the road to go to his sister’s house, slipped, .and was knocked down by a car. He was seriously injured’ and died a few minutes later. Mr Davis was a resident cif Taupiri.
