HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : — At our. weekly stock market in the Frankton yards on Tuesday last we had a good entry of cow and heifer beef. Prime cattle sold well up to late rates, plain bee! being easier, A fair entry of fat sheep was submitted, and sold firm at late values, A good number of fat and store pigs came forward, and prices 'for all classes were easier.

Beef. —-Extra heavy prime cows sold to £8 ss, lighter prime £6 to £6 2s 6d, medium weight £5 to £5 10s, light cows and heifers £4 to £4 15s ; plain heavy cows £4 12s 6d to £5 14s, rough cows and boners £3 to £3 10s-, store cows 35s to £2 ; good quality wellgi’own Holstein weaner heifers £2 14s, weaner steers 28s to 30s, small weaner calves 15s; springing heifers £4 15s to £5 ss.

Sheep.—Good quality heavy prime 'fat ewes made up to 19s, lighter prime 17s ; fat lambs 21s to 235; medium 2-tooth store wethers 18s; shorn rape lambs 14s 9d. Pigs.—Best baconers £3 4s to £3 ss, lighter £2 19s to £3 Is ; medium to heavy porkers £2 16s to £2 18s, light to medium £2 5s to £2 12s ; slips and small porkers 19s t<> 35s ; weaners. 9s 6d to Ils.
